Emily and I started a little project this morning. We "planted" some wheat from our food storage in this big Easter basket. She helped me put the "seeds" in the plastic-lined basket, and then we watered it, covered it with plastic wrap, and waited for it to grow! Actually, by the end of the first day there were already little tiny shoots growing out! We're going to use it as a spring centerpiece on the kitchen table.. and I thought Emily would like watching it grow! It'll look cute when it's all grown up!
